We’re FOR the people of Bulloch County

We want to be known for what we’re FOR. And we’re FOR Bulloch County: its schools, its shelters, its farms, and the neighbors we haven’t met yet. On November 29, Crossroads is trading our Sunday services for a day of work.

All of us, at the same time, all over this county.

Good questions

Is this open to people outside Crossroads?

For this first year, we’re keeping it to Crossroads people and those they personally invite. This is a brand-new event and we’re still working out how to run it well. Once we have the kinks sorted, we hope to open it up more. Questions? Email hello@forbulloch.org.

Who is Crossroads?

Crossroads Community Church has been part of Statesboro and Bulloch County since 1922. We meet at 23923 Highway 80 East, right next to Lowe’s. Want to know more? Visit wearecrossroads.org.

What time does it start?

The send-off is at 8:15 AM at Crossroads Community Church, 23923 Highway 80 East. Every team is on site and working by 9:00. Most projects wrap up between 11:00 and 1:00.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes. Tap the Kid-friendly filter to see every project kids can join. Each card says how old they need to be: Kindergarten and up, or 6th grade and up. Adults only means 18 and up. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian serving at the same site.

Is there childcare?

Yes, for babies through Pre-K, at Crossroads during project hours. Let us know you’re coming at hello@forbulloch.org so we have enough workers. Kids in kindergarten through 5th grade can serve with a parent on any project marked Kindergarten and up.

What should I wear?

Your FOR Bulloch shirt (free, handed out at the send-off), closed-toe shoes, and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. If your project lists something to bring, like gloves, bring it.

Does it cost anything?

No. Shirts are free, and supplies for every project are covered.

What if it rains?

We serve rain or shine. If anything changes, your project leader will text your team.

My family wants to serve together. How do we sign up?

Each person signs up for the same project, kids included. That’s how we know how many people and shirts to plan for.

What if the project I want is full?

Pick another one. Every project matters to the people it serves.

Is Crossroads having services that day?

No. For one Sunday, we’re taking it outside. Serving this county isn’t a break from worship. That Sunday, it is the worship. We’ll be back in the building the next week.

Who do I contact with questions?
